About this role:

We are looking for a Technical Designer who has a background as an Architectural Technologist to join our Singapore office. Our office is located conveniently in CBD area and easily accessible with any public transportation. You would find yourself in a multi-cultural and diverse environment.

Job Summary:

Your role as a Technical Designer is a do-er by nature who connects creativity with practicality. Your role is to make sure that our creative vision can be realized. This position reports to our Technical Director who is also based in Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Designers in bringing the concept design through schematic design, by reviewing and incorporating Architectural, Structural and Services information into the design.
• Research and propose technical solutions to design problems as and when they arise.
• Advise Project Designers in design clarification, detailing and material selection.
• Attend and record meetings within the company and with the wider design team.
• Prepare and monitor documentation production programs to keep the project on track. You are responsible for maintaining office drafting and documentation standards at all stages of the project.
• Oversee the drafting team to deliver the detailed design and documentation of the project, in line with the vision of the Project Lead.
• Work with internal Delhi-based CAD team and guide them to deliver comprehensive documentation packages.
• Manage and conduct shop drawing reviews.

Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:

• The right to work in Singapore without visa sponsorship (Singaporean / PR holder)

• A recognized Architectural Technologist qualification
• 3+ years of experience as Architectural Technologist / Technical Designer of similar role
• Experience in luxury residential or hospitality projects preferred
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (highly preferrable but not compulsory)

• Fluent in English
