Business Development Manager (Taiwan based)
About this role:
HBA is looking for a Business Development Manager who is experienced in the Taiwanese real estate and hospitality industry. You will work remotely in Taipei and report directly to our Partners in Shanghai and Singapore office.
Job Summary:
As an experienced Business Development Manager, you will have strong client relationships and contacts with decision makers of real estate developers, owners and hotel operators in the local Taiwanese market. Your main responsibility is to identify and develop new business opportunities for us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify prospective clients in real estate and hospitality industries in Taiwan.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through your existing network, industry events and cold calling.
- Build and nurture relationships with hotel operators and real estate developers in your region.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing and promotional materials.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients together with our design teams.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Produce monthly sales report such as pipeline activities and conversation rates.

Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or any other related field.
- Right to work in Taiwan WITHOUT visa sponsorship.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or marketing within real estate, architecture, or interior design industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to meet and exceed targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel.
- Proficiency in Sales Force will be a plus.
- Willingness to travel to meet potential clients.
