Sales Executive

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our London team. Based in London, you will be part of our founding European team, working closely with colleagues across Asia, the Middle East, and the US. Occasional travel and regular attendance at networking events will be expected.
About the Role
As a Sales Executive at HBA Art, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development across the UK and European markets. You’ll be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute strategic sales campaigns.
This is a commercially focused, client-facing role that requires confidence in presenting ideas and services, a structured approach to outreach, and a data-driven mindset. You will be expected to manage your pipeline using CRM tools, report regularly on performance, and continuously refine outreach strategies based on market intelligence and campaign results.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across hospitality, residential and commercial sectors, with a focus on the UK and European markets.
- Develop and implement structured outreach strategies, including cold and warm prospecting, email campaigns, and event-based engagement.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads using CRM software, ensuring accurate tracking of interactions, follow-ups, and conversion metrics.
- Research market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform targeting and positioning strategies.
- Set up and lead introductory meetings with prospective clients, articulating HBA Art’s value proposition with clarity and confidence.
- Deliver tailored “lunch and learn” sessions and presentations to introduce HBA Art’s services to new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with Consultants and leadership to design and execute targeted sales campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Assist in building and maintaining prospective client lists, segmenting by sector, geography, and opportunity type.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and sales collateral, ensuring alignment with campaign messaging and client needs.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build visibility and generate leads.
- Track and report on KPIs, campaign performance, and pipeline health on a weekly and quarterly basis, contributing to sales forecasting and strategic planning.
- Work closely with Consultant teams to convert leads into active projects, ensuring a seamless transition from prospecting to delivery.
- Support the preparation of tenders, proposals, and pitch materials, tailoring content to client objectives and commercial requirements.
- Collaborate with global HBA Art teams to share insights, coordinate outreach, and support cross-regional opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: BA (minimum) in History of Art, Fine Art, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a sales, business development, or client-facing role within the art, design, or creative industries.
- Languages: Fluency in English (mandatory); additional European languages are a plus.
- Right to work: You must have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship
Skills & Competencies
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of sales cycles, client engagement, and value-based selling in a creative services context.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) to manage pipelines, track performance, and optimise outreach.
- Presentation Skills: Confident and engaging communicator, capable of delivering persuasive presentations to diverse audiences.
- Market Awareness: Passion for art and design, with a strong grasp of market trends and client expectations.
- Networking: Natural relationship-builder with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to industry engagement.
- Organisation & Reporting: Highly organised, with experience managing multiple campaigns and reporting on performance metrics.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across functions and geographies to achieve shared goals.
